Envipro

Envipro - Environment Programme. Actually they didn’t give certain name on this activity, however at least I have to type something on the title of this note.
This is one of the activities on my church anniversary. We create drainage holes in the garden, fill them with chopped dry leaves, and cover the holes with PVC caps to avoid unexpected accident and to filter garbage. Government program of this system called biopori. The main purpose is to increase natural draining capacity by creating holes through the impermeable or semi-permeable layer of soil, especially at civilization area.

"In a world, made of steel, made of stone" –Irene Cara, Flashdance

Therefore we can drain surface water into the ground. The instructors advise us to allow plant origin garbage and to avoid animal origin garbage, therefore we can avoid unexpected bacteria to drawn into the aquifer.

I still reserve my questions: (1) how can we avoid e.coli to drawn into the ground water aquifer? (2) How much is the minimum distance of the hole to domestic water well?

Easy Sunday Morning

Just wonder why Ritchie figures that Sunday morning is easy...........
Sunday morning means: late wake up, simple chit chat with dad (who also had extended bed time) while mom prepare our breakfast.
Finally we have to prepare for church.

Graduation

It was my first graduation day (I was kindergarten student)
We shared our happiness in a charity visit to an orphanage in Bintaro area.

Each other shared our performance

These are my schoolmates

...and finally, charity speech, grad certificate and ..... what else!!!

Kartini Festive 2008

Every April 21st we have Kartini (memorial) Day, (Indonesia leader for woman liberation emancipation on education). This year I participate to our school's "Traditional Dress Festival".

I wear Indonesian Farmer dress. This is my appreciation to Indonesian farmers, (and to give them more spirit to reduce the 500 thousand MT short of our rice inventory this year)

Green Festival

Yesterday we visited Green Festival at main plaza Gelora Bung Karno Senayan.
It seem that the main issue of the festival is to "Save Our Ozone Layer" instead of "Green Environment". Just wonder that the color dominate by "Red" and sponsored by great LABSA based products.

A Glass of Water

Last nite I was in conversation with Dad.
"Dad, why we called 'air tawar' (plain water) for this (kind of) water?"
"Because it taste plain, not sweet, not salty, not sour, not bitter. Just Plain"
"What we call for plain water not warm, not cold. Dad?"
"................?? Well... son, in technical term we can call it 'room temperature plain water' but honestly, I dont know the name in daily term."
Anyone can help me?

Work and Play

We do need take a rest out of our daily works..................
These are pictures of me and dad. Do we have similarity?

Tour de Cuisine

Last month dad took me to have glance tour to a local baker's cuisine at the neighboring area.
The smell was very nice it can be smelled from the outside of the building. The chef kindly guide us on a simple 'tour de cuisine'. He -- with a simple way-- explain the procedure from the dough preparation to the packaging.

The next day was weekend day, then I ask mom to cook me a cake, so I have a chance to explain the procedure to my cousin Angela. However it was ended in different way.
